For breakfast, we drive to the beach. We make fried eggs with baked beans on the BBQ. Then beach walk. It's pleasantly warm, hardly any wind. We are thinking about the possibilities that exist here to earn a living in the future. Beer garden with German sausage and sauerkraut? After that, we stroll through Nelson. A very nice little town. In the afternoon we start to Tasman to visit the Markert family. He is the author of the book 'Weiter weg geht's wohl nicht'. Tasman is a small village with about 200 inhabitants. In this small place Markert 16 years ago bought a former apple plantation including a house. They immigrated from Baden-Baden with 2 daughters, who were 10 and 12 years old at the time. It will be a nice evening with sandwiches and beer. Then we drive to Motueka, which is 8km away, to an idyllic FCP at the marina. The last parking space is waiting for us.
