The weather in the morning was not perfect like the previous days, but still fine for our planned boat trip to the seal island. Warm jackets, scarves and hats, and off we go. The captain was a typical old sea dog with white hair and a white beard, a real Captain Birdseye!
The wind blew in our faces, but we spent most of the tour outside on deck, always waiting for a seal to appear.
But even today we had less luck when it came to animal sightings.
We could see the seals, but unfortunately only from a distance. No matter, the important thing is that we saw something. We also saw small penguin-like birds that could swim and fly, and some of them flew very close to the boat. A boat trip like this is always something special.
Afterwards, we drove to a campsite in Bjurholm and watched the day come to an end there, with a dreamy sunset over the lake.
On the way there, we saw a moose this time, with its head sticking out of the forest, eating greenery.
