The start was already promising. The chauffeur came to the lobby, dressed elegantly, and accompanied me to a silver Rolls Royce. I didn't expect that at all. We went to the airport, where he accompanied me to the check-in and said goodbye. The airplane was a small propeller plane, but the pilot was at most 20 years old. Fortunately, the flight only lasted 20 minutes. In Kingscote, I was picked up by a guide named Grant.
We set off in a off-road vehicle, and he explained to me that we had until 6:30 pm. First, we went to a place where there were Red River Gum Trees, a sign of water, and looked for koalas. We soon found the first koalas, but they were sitting very high in the trees. We saw a few kangaroos on a meadow. We watched them eat, and it was very peaceful. After that, Grant dropped me off at a national park that I explored on my own. I had to be at the picnic area at 1:00 pm. We had salad and steaks together. There was a very good wine called 'The Islander' that I got to drink (he gave me the rest to take back to the hotel). Dessert and coffee were also served. Then we continued to the Remarkable Rocks, the Admiral Arch, and Hanson Bay. It was truly incredible to see these beautiful places and watch the sea lions. We saw a short-beaked echidna and two black tiger snakes from the car. We also made a stop for coffee and cookies along the way. There were peaceful kangaroos grazing again, and I had to sit on the cooler box like the Australians do. We then drove to American River where my hotel was located. For dinner, we had oysters, which were really delicious and a wonderful ending.
The next morning, I had to be ready at 9:15. Today, there will be four of us, a couple from England. We drove to a park where we could feed and pet koalas, emus, kangaroos, and wallabies. The kangaroos were incredibly gentle as they took the food. The fur of the koalas is so soft that you just don't want to stop touching it. Grant set the table for us and we had a delicious BBQ, with the same wine. We visited various bays and observed seals in the Seals Bay. We took a walk on a rocky beach and went through rocks to reach an incredibly beautiful beach. It was slowly time for Grant to take me to the airport and for me to leave this beautiful island. I was picked up again by a RR chauffeur, but I would have liked to stay on the island a little longer.
