Hello Paris 🗼- Conclusion of my journey

Weşandin: 09.05.2019

The last day of my pilgrimage has begun. Unfortunately... I would have loved to extend my trip for another 1-2 weeks. A little sentimental, I sit at breakfast and see the freshly baked pilgrims starting their first tour. All with the same questions I had at the beginning. 🙂 I feel a bit like the 'old pro' who knows exactly how difficult the first stretch will be, but of course, I don't tell them directly so as not to demotivate the newcomers 😉

After slowly packing my clothes, I leave the hostel and explore the village and the old adjacent castle ruin a little more.

Quickly bought a small baguette snack and off to the train. 6 hours and several transfers later, I was picked up by Julia at the Paris train station. Of course, we didn't find each other right away, but ran in the wrong direction 🤣! Don't worry, my absent-minded style remains true to me, of course!!!!

Parisians celebrate the victory over Germany in World War II on May 8th (Dad, I hope that's correct!? 🤣), so many buildings are decorated with French flags and flowers are laid out in some places.

Sadly, my short but very eventful time is coming to an end!

Woww, I have experienced, seen, and felt so much.

I'm so glad I embarked on this journey. In retrospect, I never felt uncomfortable. ☝️

The pilgrimage route is magical. The strongest feeling that this path has radiated for me is HOPE!

Almost every person has a life behind them or is in a life that they want to change or an experience they want to process. What they all have in common is HOPE!

Hope that the future will be better. Hope that the path will show them where the future is heading!

People who have lost their loved ones, no longer have contact with their own children, have a stressful job without appreciation, cannot pursue their own needs, have lost a leg, have no plan for after graduation... and, and, and...

For me, this journey was a small milestone! Wait a minute! Small? No, a huge boulder 😅

Last year, I conquered my biggest fear. The fear of being alone! This journey has shown me that I can not only manage my everyday life alone - which I am personally very proud of - but also that I can travel alone. Not just manage it, but even be very happy about it ❤

I have never felt so 'not alone' in my life! Even though physically I am alone!

💙💚💛🧡💜

I lied! I have the BEST COMPANION by my side that I could wish for!!!
