21.06.2019:

Today, Lukas, another volunteer from Slovakia, and I went to Kmart to buy camping equipment for the upcoming trip. In the evening, the four of us (including the two French girls) sat upstairs in the barn and drank beer.

22.06.2019:

We got off work early because the four of us were basically just standing next to the father as he built a new incubator for the chickens. He gave us a tip that we could go to the chocolate factory next door today. However, I didn't want to go alone, so everyone went back to the warm bed because of the cold. In bed, I used up my data volume and watched YouTube videos.

23.06.2019:

The two French girls, Novelle and Audrey, made crêpes. They had Nutella for lunch and savory fillings like cheese and ham for dinner.

24.06.2019:

The alarm went off at 05:35 am. I could hardly sleep at night due to excitement. Today, Jana is arriving in Perth from Cambodia. Lukas and I picked her up from the airport at 06:15 am. We unloaded her stuff in the caravan and then started with the daily routine.

Afterwards, we were supposed to remove the top layer in the garden because the grass was not growing well and new grass seeds were supposed to be sown. It was very exhausting and my shoes also broke during this process. Standing on the shovel all the time caused cracks. I got in a bad mood. The shoes were supposed to last the entire trip and were still in great condition.

On top of that, we took a short break and had a piece of cake as an energy boost. One of the French girls criticized me for always eating and never sharing with others. It was just a mini piece of cake and there was more than enough left for everyone else. I had no idea what she wanted from me. It was probably because of her broken English. Anyway, I had to hear that I couldn't share and only cared about myself. Then she asked if I didn't have any siblings and therefore couldn't share. However, I had to share everything with my sister and had definitely learned how to do it. Plus, I enjoy sharing. Shared joy is double joy. Greetings to my sister, if you're reading this :).
