6th Day of Travel

From Pitea, we continue to Lulea, where we visit the church village of Gammelstad. The village, originally built around a church inland, is now listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We continue through Kalix to Finland. We arrive in Rovaniemi at the Arctic Circle around 5pm and find a beautiful campsite. It is situated idyllically by one of the many Finnish lakes.
