Day 6 Williamsburg
Unexpectedly, a second entry today, otherwise it would be too much at once.
With self-made bagels, we went to Colonial Williamsburg. A museum where life and work are experienced as they were in the 1700s. Everywhere you can find houses and workshops where craftsmanship is practiced as it was at that time. You can simply approach the people dressed in authentic clothes and they are always ready to help.
If you are in this area, I can only recommend it. We didn't buy a ticket to enter the houses, but walked freely through the open-air museum. There is plenty to see and discover, whether it's the pillory in front of the court or the gardener planting his garden.
You can also stay on the grounds of Colonial Williamsburg. The ghost tour there must be a special experience.
Then we had the experience of the outlet center. Yes, we went shopping, for 3½ hours. However, we didn't buy much. A rain jacket and a top for me. Egg also got two items. And there were many, many shops.
For dinner, we treated ourselves to Wendy's, a burger chain. Another item crossed off my to-do list, but I don't need it again. 😉 Similarly, ranch (dressing) and Cheetos (peanut flips or something) are overrated. In my opinion. 🤷🏻♀️
But let's get back to the positive things, we also visited a Christmas store. In April. Just don't ask. It was somehow awesome.
And the best part of it all: I won at mini golf. 🏌🏻♂️🕳️⛳🏆
