Life in Darwin can begin

After only 2 1/2 hours flight we reached Darwin, in Australia it was already 5 o'clock in the morning. We spent some time at the airport until 7 o'clock when we took a taxi to our new home. We only saw our landlords Claudia & Diego briefly on the first day. Unfortunately, not much is left of our good first impression of the apartment. The floor, the kitchen, the refrigerator have not been cleaned for a long time. In addition, most of the kitchen cabinets are empty, there is not even real tableware, etc. to be found. They have pizza delivered to the house every day. It was clear to us that we need a different accommodation, after all, we want to stay here for the try season (6 months).

So we will move to a new apartment in the middle of the city on Thursday evening. 🤗

We spent the weekend shopping or just looking around in department stores. The furniture, electrical appliances and camping equipment are very nice and cheaper than in Germany. The only thing we bought were safety shoes for Patrick, he needs them for work in the workshop. Because Monday is Patrick's first day of work in Australia. ☉🌞
