The vacation of Thomas (father of Liz) was over and we said goodbye not only to him, but after almost six weeks also to the Mekong Delta and Saigon. Our road trip could begin and we drove to Dalat, a town in the highlands of Vietnam.

The first time I see one of my favorite fruits, the passion fruit, climbing along the coffee plants.

September 11th: My 30th birthday :) Liz surprised me with a delicious breakfast and I tried my hand at my self-made gift, my tattoo machine, during the day. For dinner, we treated ourselves to vegan hot pot at our favorite restaurant Hoa Sen. Of course, dancing to electronic beats in the fancy Asian club was also a must :)



The nature around Dalat is beautiful for hiking and in the evening we watched the colorful hustle and bustle at the night market, listened to the songs of street musicians and drank hot Sua (soybean, corn, bean, peanut milk).
