We slept very well in a bed after two sleepless nights. However, I was surprised by a 6 cm large cockroach (without its long antennae) in the bathroom last night, which I would have expected in the bush, but not in a 4th floor hotel. Due to the heavy rain, there were no crawlies in the camp. Two and a half hours flight to Sydney, nice approach with relatively good visibility. The plane was not fully occupied, everything went smoothly. Only the temperature is colder than expected, it's only 18°C. We have checked into a nice hotel room. From the Outback to the metropolis. Now we will explore the 4.6 million metropolis for the next 3 days (almost one sixth of the entire continent). It stretches along the northern and southern shores of the Parramatta River, which flows into the Port Jackson Bay. Sydney is characterized by its natural harbor. With a coastline of 240 km, it is the natural center of the city.
