And it's still raining. Lightly in the morning, then torrential in the afternoon...
But that didn't stop us from going to Bribie Island (with Helen's car, including driving on the left side in Australia).
Bribie Island is the northernmost of the 365 islands in Moreton Bay, off the coast of Brisbane, most of which are completely made of sand. Bribie Island is no exception.
Bribie Island is 34 km long and up to 8 km wide, and has been connected to the mainland by a bridge since 1963.
