Hello,
We continued our journey to Invercargill where we spent only a short time. We strolled through the beautiful city park and went shopping. We stayed overnight in the small port town of Bluff to take the ferry to Stewart Island the next day. At the harbor, we immediately booked our ticket and went to the campground to prepare everything for the island. We set up our newly bought tent, packed our backpacks, and so on. After checking in, unfortunately, someone crashed into our car and it was a huge hassle to sort things out!! It was quite exhausting because the people who crashed into us were German and they stubbornly refused to admit their fault! They were unfriendly and only concerned about their own advantage! I can't stand such dishonest people who cheat others!! Unfortunately, it happened at the campground where there is no police! Well, the car is ruined! We will probably have to bear the costs, but we actually don't care, as long as I NEVER HAVE TO SEE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!!!! After the shock, I took a shower, then we had something to eat and went to bed...! We didn't get a chance to do the laundry and prepare things. We had to get up early the next day! The next day, we prepared everything and went to the ferry and checked in there.
