Return journey via Bamberg

For the return journey, we have planned 3 days + 1 day buffer.

Ever since I read Tommy Jaud's 'Resturlaub' a few years ago, I have wanted to visit Bamberg. This time, it is actually a good opportunity to stay there overnight. We spontaneously decide to join a night watchman tour. It has also been on my list for a long time. The tour was great, creatively designed and informative. The only drawback was that it was already dark (of course).

However, you could still get a good idea of how beautiful Bamberg is. That's why we decided to take a look at the whole thing the next day in daylight. So, our departure was postponed to the afternoon. But it was definitely worth it, Bamberg is really beautiful!

A complete closure of the motorway ultimately led to another overnight stay in Göttingen, so we didn't get home until Monday.

Our first day at work was already on Tuesday. And everyday life has us in its clutches again. But the next vacation (and the next blog entry) is definitely coming! We are going to Amsterdam for Christmas! I would be happy if you stop by again 😘
