Our journey from Munich to Cartagena

After spending the last few days saying goodbye and clearing out our apartment, our journey started on Saturday, August 17 with a day trip to Munich. There we spent a few cozy hours with the Obruca parents 😊, enjoyed some Bavarian cuisine and savored the culinary diversity of the West to the fullest.

With the intention of keeping our journey completely flexible, we hadn't booked anything apart from the flight to Colombia and the first accommodation. The lady at the check-in counter was not particularly pleased with this and explained to us that check-in without confirmation of departure was not possible. The first short shock! With a quick pull out of our phones and booking a pseudo flight, we still met the requirements for entry.

After this first little faux pas, our heart rate had to be brought back to normal with a few glasses of wine. With the right alcohol level, we headed to the gate... waving a few more times and OFF WE GO 😊
