Bouldering

Today is a holiday in North Macedonia. The lake, my current home, is today the most popular destination around Prilep, for young and old. I'm not used to so many people. Like a shy deer, I retreat into the mountains at noon, where I'm also going bouldering today with crash pads and some topo information from the internet. During my research, I came across an email address of someone who rents out crash pads and sells topos here. Great thing, it even worked out spontaneously. The session was fun.

The people I meet here don't initially seem very open, but they are very friendly and relaxed. As the only tourist around, I naturally stand out a bit and you can tell that tourism, if anything, is slowly reaching this country, which has a lot to offer with its culture and nature.
