Mission Impossible

Გამოქვეყნდა: 26.03.2018

Hello my dear ones!

After spending the night in a breathtaking residential area in Queenstown and parking very slanted on purpose, the mission was to lay down normally every hour as we kept rolling to the left. After this exhausting night, I realized that a bed lying in the water (Swabian for: straight) is a gift from God that should be appreciated and not taken for granted. When we woke up the next morning, we realized as we opened the curtains and got out of the car that we had slept in this beautiful place surrounded by mountains and with a fantastic view of the lake.

Afterwards, in order to start the morning cozy, my dear travel buddy Jonathan treated me to a delicious cappuccino, which I enjoyed with him during a relaxing walk through the charming botanical garden of Queenstown, because he talks about topics like money, which I consider to be extremely annoying, irritating, inappropriate, and irrelevant. That's why the essential rule was created that when this topic, which I will not mention by name again, comes up, Jonathan has to buy me a coffee of my choice.

After a delightful Indian lunch, which we enjoyed on a joyful meadow, and a shopping trip that ended unsuccessfully in the small but fine city center of Queenstown, we sadly left the enchanting town of Queenstown, which, as mentioned at the beginning, is located at the foot of a mountain range called the Southern Alps and a crystal-clear body of water, Lake Wakatipu. On the subsequent two-hour car journey through the stunning landscape of Otago, we made a stop a few kilometers outside of Queenstown, which led us through a luxurious residential area with wooden facades directly to the southern end of Lake Wakatipu. We reached our next destination, Te Anau, at around 5 p.m. and headed straight to a campsite that we had already found using the fantastic app Campermate, which should be available on every backpacker's smartphone because it makes life so much easier. We have now settled down there and will stay for one night.

I hereby, Miriam Sophie Albrecht, born on 01.04.1996, testify that the latter text was not written under the influence of mind-expanding substances, but was composed with full consciousness, Bitch.

Yours sincerely,

Miriam
