The journey was a bit shorter than planned, taking 09:35 hours. And anyone who tells me that you can sleep on the plane, well, you won't convince me. Despite having a double row of seats to myself, I couldn't really sleep...
Arrived at 6 o'clock in the morning, here it is only 1 hour ahead, so no jet lag or anything like that. And then I picked up the car, not without a 1-hour briefing on how to operate everything...water, double tank, 4-wheel drive, etc. After that, very tired, I went straight to the hotel where the room was not ready yet and therefore went straight to Windhoek.
Not a particularly beautiful city, but very lively and you can get everything you need for the tour here...You can also see some traces from the German colonial era until 1918...
We were quite exhausted and stayed in the hotel in the afternoon, where we had dinner in flip flops and shorts (that's Kostas' world...) in 32 degrees Celsius (very delicious, by the way, the ORYX steak) and started planning for the next day...Off to the south...to Keetsmanhoop.
