So the stop was worth it after all, Colonia is an old Portuguese settlement with a very eventful history. The beauty of the city lies in its well-preserved colonial old town with a lighthouse, old alleys, crooked houses, and so on. Unfortunately, on January 1st, the city was crowded with tourists, but my schedule didn't allow any flexibility. That's why I took the crowded ferry to Buenos Aires in the evening.
Today, another day of hot and stormy Buenos Aires, a little Boca and San Telmo. I have to say, my first visit was much more relaxed and less crowded than now, probably due to the holidays. Fortunately, a thunderstorm cleared the streets.
Then I will go out for a delicious dinner once again, and tomorrow at noon, I will return to Prague via Zurich at 12:45 pm.
