We continue to the first major Portuguese city on our journey, PORTO.
A parking lot near the old town and the world-famous bridge is found quite quickly after a seemingly endless struggle through suburbs and construction sites in the city center. Doro isn't completely comfortable, but a friendly Portuguese man who's currently relaxing and rolling a cigarette says "this is safe, you can park there".
So we occupy 3.5 parking spaces because I want to park horizontally instead of vertically.
From there, it's a 5-minute walk to Ponte Dom Luiz, a construction by my friend Gustave Eiffel, you see. The old town along the harbor is simply breathtaking.
