Iveagh Bay, Lake Brunner, Moana

When we were showering yesterday, we drove past a race track in Greymouth and noticed that there is a race taking place today. So we're going back to Greymouth and on the way we're going to visit the Brunner Mine. This old mine was used for coal mining until 1906 and is very significant for the region and New Zealand, as the 'Brunner Disaster' occurred in 1896 - an explosion in the mine where all the miners lost their lives. After that, we're going to watch a race from the 'War of the Wings' series, where different classes of sprint cars compete against each other. These are small racing cars that race around an oval track to be first. The sprint cars, equipped with powerful American V8 engines with over 900 horsepower, drift around the corners at speeds of up to 260 km/h, even throwing some dirt on the spectators. After about 4 hours, we return to our unfortunately no longer so fast car at the track. Over the past few days, we have come to realize that Zuhlo will need a new clutch. With one final clutch test, we decide not to move our Zuhlo for now until we can go to the workshop on Monday.
