Since we woke up early due to the time difference, we took advantage of the 'early bird catches the worm' and went to Canyon Lake Drive to take a legendary photo of the Hollywood sign. After that, we went to Melrose Avenue to find the 'secret' alleys. A definite must for teenagers. We also took the obligatory photo there and then went on to Rodeo Drive. It was a bit like St.Moritz, but warmer and bigger :-) From there, we went to the Walk of Fame. Quite a drastic difference from coming straight from Rodeo Drive. While looking for the Michael Jackson star, we were lured by a new shop offering 'virtual reality'. Well, because us mountain people are so curious, we immediately tried it out. So we took a time travel, went back in time to save the future. So now it's all clear folks, we saved the world :-) you can go on... The day ended at the Grove shopping mall - which covered our physical well-being perfectly!
Since the jetlag is very prominent, we used the early hours to go to the Canyon lake drive to take a legendary picture of the Hollywood sign. Thereafter, we proceeded to Melrose Avenue to find the 'secret' aisles. A MUST for a teenage girl. Captured the must-have picture, we progressed to the Rodeo Drive. It felt a little like St.Moritz, just warmer and bigger :-) From there, we advanced to the Walk of Fame, which felt rather the opposite of where we just came from. While searching for the Michael Jackson star, we got intrigued by a shop offering 'virtual reality'. Since we are rather curious mountaineers, we agreed to travel time zones, landed in the past to fix the future. We are very glad to inform you that we fixed the issues, we rescued the earth, you can proceed to live... the day ended in the Grove shopping mall, fixing our earthly need for food and drinks!
