June 26, 2018 Fehmarn Island

Today we continued our journey to Fehmarn Island, an island connected to the German mainland on one side by a bridge and to Denmark on the other side by a ferry.

As soon as we settled in at the parking spot, we hopped on our e-bikes and went for a ride. Our destination today was the coastal path around the island. The weather kept improving and the tour was very beautiful, with almost the entire route along the coast. There were no built-up coastlines, only nature and many camping sites. Actually, we are no longer on a camper vacation but on a cycling vacation, so this site should be renamed to Velomania.ch.

We have decided to drive to another parking spot in the north tomorrow.
