On the first morning on the West Coast, we are awake early again and get two coffees and two English muffins to go on the Queen Mary and sit on the promenade deck, enjoying the view.
Then we visit the ship and the decks, including the bridge. After taking various photos on the ship, we leave the hotel and check out. Then we have American Football Live in LA at the Coliseum scheduled for us today.
We drive directly towards Downtown and luckily there is hardly any traffic. We reach our parking lot, which we booked for $25 through SpotHero.com just so that we don't have to pay the exorbitant prices for parking at the Rams' stadium. From our parking lot, we take the tram to the stadium (a round trip costs only $4.50).
After arriving at the stadium, we make our way to the bag checks (only transparent bags up to a certain size are allowed). When we arrive at our seats in the front row, the game has unfortunately already started, but we didn't miss much.
The game remains very exciting and balanced in the first three quarters, but in the last quarter, the Rams make too many mistakes that the Bills mercilessly take advantage of and convert into points. Therefore, the final score is 30:19 for the Buffalo Bills and the Rams lose their home game.
After the game, we leave the stadium and return to our car in the parking lot. From there, we head towards Palm Springs. It takes about 2 hours until we reach our hotel in Palm Springs. Shortly after, we go to Denny's to eat and then enjoy the large and soft beds in our room with a bit of American TV programming.
