Polynesian Cultural Center, Day 13

Pubblicato: 03.05.2023

What an amazing experience. We had a truly extraordinary day. After breakfast, we went to Waimea Beach Park to spend the morning at the beach and in the water. Beach yes, water no. Waves up to 5 meters high prevented swimming. From noon onwards, we spent the day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Here, the main islands of Polynesia are presented. You learn a lot about history and culture. The offer is rounded off with short shows, such as a cooking show, the production of coconut oil, and hula dancing. We had a really nice guide who took us through the park. After a canoe ride, there was dinner. The buffet was excellent, but the highlight was the Pina Colada, served in a pineapple with refill. The finale was a 1 1/2-hour show with fire performance. All I can say is, it was breathtaking. As a finale, Thomas bought a ukulele in the ukulele shop. Here you could also see how they are made. Namely, all by hand. What an amazing experience.
