China Trip Part 3 - Yangshuo

Pubblicato: 06.05.2017

The final stop of my China trip was Yangshuo. The absolute best place of my trip. :)

Since I arrived in the evening, I first went to West Street, a street full of shops and bars, and grabbed a snack ;)

Since rain was forecasted for the next day, I signed up for rapid water rafting and the Silver Caves in the afternoon. The rafting was a lot of fun but also quite scary when you saw the "downhill" sections that they send you down. :D But it was actually like a roller coaster ride and very enjoyable. (Photos will be added here later because I bought a CD with the pictures on it but don't have a CD drive).

Afterwards, I went to the Silver Caves, which didn't have such great reviews, but I was impressed. I thought it was really beautiful and there was also a circular path where you couldn't get lost and a free audio guide. Many people found the lighting cheesy, but I thought it would be boring without the lighting. Anyway, I thought it was very beautiful and impressive. :)

The next morning, I woke up at 5am and walked up a TV tower hill (30 minutes of just stairs) because you should actually have a beautiful sunrise from there, but as usual, it was all cloudy so I didn't see much of it. The view was still nice though. :)

Afterwards, I went back to the hostel and met two girls in my room who asked me if I wanted to go to Moon Hill with them. We rented bicycles and rode there. Another 30 minutes uphill and the same problem with the view. Well, the main thing was that we were there. ;)

Since the girls went home afterwards, I went on a bike tour in the afternoon alone and explored more of the landscape.

On my last day, I went to Xingping and climbed a mountain there where you actually had the best view and finally had an almost blue sky and clear view. *.* It was really beautiful.

Afterwards, I went to the famous 20 Yuan place to take the typical tourist picture with the banknote and then went back to the hostel to pick up my things and made my way back to Hong Kong.

All in all, the China trip was really beautiful and I met and got to know some really nice people. I'm looking forward to traveling to China again next week! :D
