You know you're in Asia when...

you turn on the tap and get wet feet 😄. We are now on our way to the border with Vietnam. No tourist gets lost here, so we are often the only foreigners in the towns and are greeted with loud hellos, especially by the children. The people are incredibly friendly and calm. Getting something meatless to eat is more difficult than expected... Today was one of those days when I cursed the 'most beautiful way to travel'. I had such pain while sitting and my knee hurts. Kai is suffering from the heat and feeling sick. The wind is of course strong and of course against us.😜 Yes, on days like these, I dream of a sun lounger by the pool and longingly watch the air-conditioned buses go by.😍 Well, hopefully tomorrow the world will look different again. Our next big goal is Hue in Vietnam. I am curious - also about the contrast from the super relaxed Laos to the spooky Vietnam... I will report. By the way, the many little pigs, goats, chickens and cows walking down the street here are very nice to see.
