First encounters in Spain

Pubblicato: 01.11.2021

I am staying at a quiet spot near a lake on the outskirts of a mountain village. The next day is still foggy. The fog clears after a short morning walk through the village. Later, you can see the great view of the village church.

I start a conversation with my camper neighbor, who is from the area and gives me tips for other places worth seeing. My Spanish is not as rusty as my French. :)

After she goes jogging, the sun is perfect for a few sun salutations on the flat meadow. Again, a great place to do yoga and sit at the laptop with a beautiful view.

While I am making breakfast, I also offer my neighbors, Rosió and Dani, a portion of my lovingly prepared porridge, which they are very happy about.

It's just a great feeling to give. And amazing what you get in return. We eat together in their camper and the two give me more great tips for my journey. And homemade fig jam for my supplies. Overall, a wonderful first encounter in Spain...

After a short hiking trip to the viewpoint 'Mirador de la Tortuga' and a swim in the lake, I continue to Besalú, a medieval town recommended by Rosió.
