Darjeeling

Hi guys,

as you can read from the title we arrived in the famous area Darjeeling. There we spent our Last days in India. At the First day we drove with the Toy Train, which is by the way the highest Train in the world with a altitude of 7404 ft. The tracks run around the Batasia loop, it is a solider memorial with a beautiful View about Darjeeling. We got out of the Station in Ghum to hike to the Alu Bari Tempel. We got help from two local boys, who joined us to the Tempel. This Tempel is not only located in Darjeeling you can visit them also in other Parts India for example Dehli and and even in other countries for example in Paris. After the hike we visited some monasteries in Ghum. The First monasteries called Yiga Choling Gompa, which was built in 1850 from that since now there are still living monceys . The Second Was the Samte. Choling Gompa. There you can See the biggest Buddha statue in Westbengalen. And the third and Last one the Druk Sangak Choling Gompa(Klara was happy) , which initated by the daila Lama in 1993.

We spent the next day only for the different kinds of Tea. We drunk black, green and white teas and all taste so delicious. To learn more about the tea manufactory we visited the Happy Valley Tea Esitate, which was founded in 1854. there a guide explained the different prozesses to produce Tea.

After we can descibe ourselves as teacognoscenties we drove to Siliguri to get to to Border from India to Nepal.
