We leave the place of the musical toilets (yes, the rest area toilet played jazz when you closed the door) and go straight to the town to write a bit on the blog. As always, we look for the nearest library and I join the many students who also want to be productive there. I spend the time there until later in the afternoon, editing pictures, writing blog posts, editing videos, and sending applications.
Jonna meanders a bit through the rather unspectacular city and after exploring all the corners, we make our way together to refuel and shop before we continue our route southward to the next campground. By evening, the wind picks up again and when we reach the rest area, we have to move our van, which we parked right by the coast, after a while because we are a bit afraid that a gust could blow us over.
What follows is the most exhausting night of our New Zealand stay, in which both of us can hardly sleep because of the fear of strong gusts of wind and the rocking.
