Hello hello,
After our research yesterday, apart from numerous golf courses and a shopping center in Perth, we couldn't find much. We decided to spend the morning in Edinburgh and only continue to Perth in the afternoon. This way, we would still have the chance to learn more about the history of Edinburgh and get some interesting or entertaining anecdotes about the city's most important places on a very engaging city tour.
After a quick lunch, we went to the train station and headed to Perth. Since our Airbnb host worked at the museum and offered to drop off our backpacks with her colleagues, we first wandered through the sleepy small town towards the museum. While joking that there wouldn't be anything interesting here, we stumbled upon a street festival with live music. Then we had a short visit to the really nicely designed small museum, and the afternoon was already over.
Now we are planning again, tomorrow we will continue to Aberdeen and Inverness, and soon we will also visit the Isle of Skye. But nothing is booked yet, and due to the lack of trains, there are still a lot of uncertainties regarding transportation. So now let's work diligently for a short while, and then we will make ourselves comfortable with a book and playing cards.
See you tomorrow,
Veronika and Christine
