Toscan dream tour day 13

Today was another leisurely day in Montepulciano. I found a great mailbox, a tour bus, painted shoes, charming perspectives, and a nice winery with interesting underground vaults. For a late lunch, I ate at a small osteria with a very nice Spanish family who were also on a Tuscan tour. We had a great conversation in English, Italian, and Spanish - it was a lot of fun.

On my way home, a storm started, so I went to the terrace to enjoy the view. It was still dry, I could observe the rain from a distance and the approaching thunderstorm 🌩️ as well. But then I had to hurry to get back to the apartment without getting wet, and that's not easy uphill 😂😅.

Lesson of the day: even leisurely walks make tired feet.
