Hey everyone!
Today we are writing to you from Roses, Spain.
Around noon, we left the campsite 'Camping Magnanarelles' and headed towards Spain. We have left behind breathtaking landscapes: green forests, vast stretches of land, winding mountain passes, and the view of the sea.
Initially, we wanted to stop at the viewpoint 'Cirque de Navacelles', but somehow we missed the exit and decided to continue towards the sea.
At around 6 o'clock, we realized that our motorhome was already running on reserve tank. So we took the next exit. But no... It couldn't be one of the thousand exits from smaller towns - it was a huge city called 'Perpignan' and of course, we were stuck in traffic. By the time we finally reached the gas station, we were both sweating from fear that we wouldn't make it. And of course, on the rest of the drive, there were dozens of gas stations.
The border crossing was really simple! Such a small customs post and everything went so quickly that we didn't even have time to take a photo of our second border :)
Here in Roses, we are staying at a proper motorhome parking area. It's great! We pay 15 euros and get a secured area, WIFI, water for our motorhome tank, and we can dispose of everything (toilet, gray water, etc.).
From here, it's 750 meters to the beach, which we will definitely visit tonight.
Where we will end up tomorrow is not so clear yet. Maybe we will continue to S'Agaró, where we found a nice place 'Camino de Ronda' on TripAdvisor.
You will find out more details tomorrow ;)
