Yesterday we had some trouble getting started in the morning. In other words, we slept until noon. It was also because the alarms didn't ring for some reason. Anyway, the day itself was still good. We then submitted the first application to a sports club. Unfortunately, there was no one there to handle job inquiries, but the person we gave our applications to seemed nice and optimistic. So we hope for a prompt response and possibly the acceptance to coach.
After that, we checked into our first hostel, in a 10-person room. You can imagine how the air is in there, especially since we don't have a window to the outside. Just 2 small windows that let in some hallway air. Anyway, we want to save money, so we chose the cheapest option. The cool thing is that we have a kitchen downstairs, so we can provide ourselves with food at a reasonable cost.
We have also already met the first German backpackers, with whom we also went to our first Australian party in the evening. The atmosphere was good, the drinks were way too expensive, and the DJ was not the best. So we walked back through the cold night air, directly to our stuffy room. Thanks to the bad air, you fall asleep quickly because oxygen is almost non-existent.
