Day 6+7

On Sunday, it was a very relaxing day. Since the work is voluntary, I took the opportunity to rest.

On Monday, I had to wake up early to do research in the reserve. We used a kind of antenna to search for the signals of the elephants. We were lucky and saw all three elephants 😍

Afterwards, we exchanged the batteries and memory cards of the cameras. They are triggered by movement and help to investigate the behavior of the animals living there.

We spent the afternoon sorting older memory cards. However, we had really bad luck and got one with over 5000 pictures, of which only about 20 showed animals 🥴
