Rotorua is one of many places in New Zealand with geothermal and volcanic activities. Smoke rises everywhere in the city and it smells like sulfur. We visited Te Puia, a park where the largest geyser in the southern hemisphere is located, and where we learned a lot about Maori culture. Our highlight was, of course, when we cooked eggs in a natural hot pool where the water was 100 degrees hot. :D
