Queenstown

In Queenstown we arrived early in the morning on January 2nd. We took the opportunity to climb up Queenstown Hill and then relax by the lake shore. The city truly has its charm nestled between the mountains right by the lake. They just go a bit overboard with the various water activities like jetskiing, speedboating, jetsuiting, and so on.

The next day, we went on a day trip to Doubtful Sounds and when we returned late in the evening, we rewarded ourselves with one of the extremely popular Fergburgers. You have to wait for about an hour for this, but it's worth it :)

The next day, we're going to hitchhike for the first time towards Wanaka. Let's see how that goes...
