We are on the road again. Almost exactly one year after starting our 6-month Europe trip, we are back in the camper. And this time, we are heading south.
But first, we are going to Weinstadt-Strümpfelbach. You don't know it? It's worth a visit. On the way there, you pass through the Unicorn Tunnel. It owes its name to a popular vote and is neither colorful nor full of unicorn dust, but rather pragmatic and full of road dust. When we arrived at our destination, we were warmly greeted by Pia and Johannes. We have already met both of them in Albania and have encountered them again on our Europe tour. After the long drive, we went for a long walk. Up to the vineyards and then we had a view over Strümpfelbach. From there, we continued through the half-timbered streets and alleys. And not only is it beautiful there, but the town is also known for its famous sculptor, Karl Ulrich Nuss. His sculptures are distributed throughout almost the entire town. Playful, quirky, funny, ordinary, and always close to life. And if you make a lot of effort, you will find the little hidden nuts in the sculptures, which the artist named Nuss.
In the evening, we sat together and chatted for a long time. And because we didn't finish, we continued chatting at the breakfast table. But then it was time for us to continue our journey. After all, our journey will take us somewhere else this time, right? Where do you think we will end up this time?
