08/07/2016 - Trip to Milan

On 08/07/2016, our trip to Milan. Not just for shopping, but especially worthwhile culturally! Sure, they have summer sales, but we don't care about that ;-)

The number one eye-catcher is of course the enormous cathedral. Impressive from the outside, rather simple and elegant inside. With an outside temperature of 34 degrees and blazing sun, it also had a pleasant moderate indoor temperature.

In the evening, finally a hot meal with only 25-28 degrees. At eye level with the figures from the roof of the cathedral. We were on the rooftop terrace of the neighboring department store on the 6th floor. I hope you can see it in the pictures :-)

Then slowly but purposefully back to the parking garage. It was already late. Arriving there at 00:01, the parking attendant wanted to close and refuse our exit. With persuasion, cash and a 3-euro tip, we made it after all. We were now able to start our 1.2 hour journey back to Bergamo.
