At half past nine, our bus driver picked us up and dropped us off at Te Puia Park just 20 minutes later.
There, we saw a traditional Maori welcome ritual. These are the indigenous people of New Zealand.
Afterwards, we went to an impressive geyser where we marveled at the geysers.
The bubbling mud pool, on the other hand, was only half as impressive:D
Unfortunately, we had no luck seeing any of the famous kiwi birds at the kiwi enclosure.
The highlight was a hot spring where our guide cooked fresh eggs just for us.
When we arrived in Taupo, we want to visit the Huka Falls. But I will now tell you about our morning, as the eternal problem with the Wi-Fi continues and I don't know when I can upload pictures again.
