Update 03.04.+04.04.
On the 3rd, we were a little active again. We continued inland from Mission Beach to Tableland National Park.
The waterfalls are the most famous there, so we drove along the Waterfall Circuit and reached the Ellinjaa Falls. From the car park, we had to walk a short distance through a rainforest until we finally stood by the river and could admire the waterfall. It was really beautiful, but ultimately not as impressive, especially after seeing the Huka Falls in New Zealand, which were incredible masses of water.
After that, we went to the Zillie Falls. Unfortunately, they were hardly visible from the viewing platform. We could only see where the river falls.
Our last stop was the Milla Milla Falls. This is truly a textbook waterfall. Unfortunately, orange safety tape somewhat ruined the atmosphere of the place, and it was too cold and cloudy to go swimming.
Since it was only noon, we decided to stay in the national park and drive to Lake Tinaroo. We spent the rest of the afternoon and the entire 4th of April by the lake, enjoying the sun and the sound of the water or the tranquility at the campsite, where hardly any other visitors were.
