Grouse Mtn

Pubblicato: 19.09.2018

First of all, sleep in and have a proper breakfast. Then we made our way to Canada Place, where we bought tickets for the Skytrain to Grouse Mountain. After a short visit to Starbucks, we took the free shuttle bus to the base station. From there, we took a 95-passenger cable car up the 1231m high mountain, once again in beautiful weather.

We had a great view of Vancouver and Mt. Baker, located 64km away in the USA.

Grouse Mountain also houses two brown bears, which arrived as orphaned cubs in 2001. Grizzlies are truly fascinating animals.

We have no regrets about visiting the Lumperjack Show. It was truly entertaining.

On the way back, we were drawn to a Thai restaurant. The food there was amazing. Maybe we should spend our next vacation in Thailand?

Now we're still sitting on our balcony on the 21st floor, simply enjoying Vancouver.
