After Matera we want to head towards Calabria. Gianfranco says we really have to go to Craco. This is a village that was evacuated in the 1960s due to landslides and has since then only been allowed to enter as a film location. The landscape around it is very worth seeing. And that's true. The village is perched on a mountain with breathtaking views.
Today the sun is shining again, but there are storms and cold winds. So we decide to drive a long way south to Calabria. We check in at the Alfieri campsite for one night. One of the most beautiful places I have seen. Lovingly laid out and with a great view. If it weren't for the wind we would stay here. But it's still really cold today
So a little further south. We want to meet with Petro, who has already been with us in Lassan twice. He has been at Camping Koku for some time. Since the weather is calming down, we're going there and want to enjoy the sun for a few more days. After all, you soon have to think about the return trip.
