Well, there wasn't really much to experience on this day. Have breakfast and then enjoy watching the clouds from the deck at the stern, soaking up the blue sky and the sun while observing the ship's wake, churning up the sea with its propellers.
In between, a little snacking (the kitchen and baking studio are almost open around the clock).
The sunbathing area is limited, especially since some areas at the bow of the ship were closed due to a freshening wind, and in the remaining available areas, the loungers were stacked. It felt a bit like Ballermann... loungers that were already claimed with towels before breakfast, and during meal times, the loungers were folded up, marking them as occupied. But with such close spacing, we wouldn’t have wanted to lie down either. That would have felt too much like intimate contact...
In the afternoon, we took a little nap in our rooms, as the night hadn't been as restful as usual, and we were a bit short on sleep. Additionally, the sea air makes you not only hungry but also a bit sleepy. But that wasn't a problem; there was really nothing to miss anyway.
In the early evening, we were accompanied by the only living creatures we have seen at sea thus far - some seabirds...
