Finally! We deserved a good sleep-in!
We got up at 10 o'clock in the morning and prepared the best breakfast we've had in a long time.
After quickly packing up, we headed to our bus around noon, which took us to the train station in Voss. From Voss, we took the train to Bergen, our destination for the day.
We arrived at 5 o'clock. We stored our backpacks and started our tour of the city.
We passed by a pavilion full of flowers, churches, and various beautiful places.
We also saw the Unesco World Heritage Bryggen. A collection of colorful wooden houses! We thought that we had truly arrived in Norway now.
Unfortunately, our tour was accompanied by rain, but that's typical here for 90% of the year.
Tired from the previous day and all the traveling, we went to eat pizza.
We were lucky, the rain stopped and we were able to visit the city's largest church and the university, where we found a street named after Christie.
With enough time, we went back to Bryggen to take some final photos.
Now we have boarded our night train that will take us to Oslo!
We wish all the working people a nice Monday, which we will spend exploring another Norwegian city!
(Side note: 4 hours by bus/train, 13.5 km on foot, night train: 7.5 hours)
