Day 3: Vancouver - Whistler

We start our third day with a walk through Chinatown, the Chinese Garden, and Gastown. All of this can be easily done on foot from our accommodation in the city center. In the afternoon, we continue with our rental car.

On our way to Whistler, we skip the overcrowded Suspension Bridge for $42 (excluding sales tax) and drive directly to the Salomon Hatchery to watch salmon. Yummy ;) The hiking trail in Capilano River Regional Park is also free and highly recommended, as well as the Shannon Falls.

Things we learn:

Everything in Canada is very, very big. The trees, the cars, the roads, even the Kellogg's cereal box.
