Our first night on the Lofoten Islands we spend at German emigrants' property. We can park Polly on a small path to a small barn. The family welcomes us very warmly and offers 3 parking spaces next to their house. Over time, they want to convert their property into a small camping site. Currently, the not so powerful campers have to use the family's bathroom and kitchen as needed. Somehow strange to walk through strangers' house to get to the bathroom... Luckily, we are equipped for such cases. Across from the adjacent E10, there is another property to the sea with its own boat. We spend the evening by the water in complete peace and eagerly watch the water, because at this time porpoises are said to be there. After one night, we say goodbye to the family and head to a campground to explore the individual islands by car.
