On the way to London, we had booked tickets for the Harry Potter Studios.

The studio tour initially took us to the cinema where we could watch a few scenes from the film.

The first stop was the Great Hall, where the new Hogwarts students are welcomed and meals take place.

Here, the candles floated in the air just like in the film - but the wires hadn’t been edited out yet...

After that, the exhibition provided information about the making of the films and the producers and directors involved.

We continued through various sets and could see the common rooms of Gryffindor and Slytherin.

Dumbledore's office was also recreated for visitors.
