06.02.2023: Peso da Régua - Alvarenga Suspension Bridge - Souselo: After the morning jog along the Douro riverbank, we drive along a beautiful route through the vineyards to Alvarenga, where the highest and longest pedestrian bridge (over the Paiva) in the Unesco Global Geopark is located. Frank and Gabi from Miami help us out as our credit card is not working for purchasing the tickets (once again....) We have a great afternoon together, as the crowd is very manageable, and we quickly realize that we are on the same wavelength... Later, we continue to our sleeping spot for tonight: a free parking space provided by the Souselo municipality with 'hot and everything'...
