It's time to travel again.
Denmark was great and we spent a few wonderful days here. It's time for a change of scenery.
So let's pack our things and go. Next stop - Eckernförde. We want to stay at the Noor campsite, which is located right in the city center. Perfect for a city stroll.
We leave Denmark near Flensburg. Shortly after the border, there is the Scandinavian Park truck stop. Everything you need is there. Shopping center, camping store, fishing store, Burger King, and a truck and motorhome wash for our Oddo. We'll treat Oddo to that now. Wash away the salt, sand from the beach, and all the dead bugs from all the countries we have visited.
We go for the full program and there are 4 people taking care of Oddo. Scrubbing, spraying, wiping everywhere. Two people are working on the roof. It's also a good test for leaks. In the end, our Oddomobil shines like new. It was worth it and we will remember it for future trips to Denmark.
We continue to Eckernförde. The campsite is within walking distance of the beach and the promenade. We will stay here for one night.
Let's go to the beach and take a leisurely stroll through the streets. Unfortunately, the weather is not so great today, so we continue towards the city center.
Afterwards, we went to a Greek restaurant for dinner. By the way, the portions were huge. We couldn't finish both of them. No problem, because the next day we had gyros sandwiches for breakfast.
The next day, we continued our journey early. Our final stop is Fehmarn. Here, we wanted to go all out and get a spot with a sea view.
We chose the Strandcamping Belt campsite and we were lucky again! The last spot with a sea view is ours. Oh yes, we actually splurged... because a sea view comes with an extra charge of 20 euros... per night!!!
We booked two nights here. We will end our mega vacation here.
The weather was not as hot as in the previous weeks and it also became a bit wetter. But it doesn't matter, we enjoyed it.
On day 22, we packed our things for the last time and left Fehmarn.
Off we go home.
