After a very relaxed weekend in Bretten with time to relax, sleep in, chat and eat delicious food (for example at Ravensburg), we continued north.
Naturally, we had weather that was ordered... yesterday evening a total rain/thunderstorm wall, this morning dry and 21 degrees.
Once again, Garmin had put together a very nice route for us, our first stop was a delicious panoramic coffee break in Heidelberg at the castle, of course with a motorcycle parking space right in front of the door :-)
(Even if I think that the posture shown cannot be maintained for more than 10 km without booking an appointment with a physio afterwards!)
After that, we continued towards Mainz along the Baden Wine Route. On the way, we had a delicious ice cream sundae in Worms after visiting the cathedral.
Who knows, what the little umbrella shown below is needed for? It is located in the front right part of the altar area (and looks like a Langnese ice cream umbrella from the back... ok, we were craving ice cream... maybe it was wishful thinking.:-)
Now we have made a stop in an AirBnB in Heidesheim. Tomorrow morning we are looking forward to the last travel destination: a guided tour of the Mainz Cathedral with the famous windows by Chagall.
I will of course report back.
Best regards to everyone for today!
